K-3 Rescheduling - Mumbai

We have rescheduled our K-3 interview from April 22, 09 to May 26, 09.

Can anyone please let us know when we may get the packet 4 since:

1. They say they have sent it more than two weeks ago

2. We still haven't received it

3. One operator told my wife that it's sent roughly a month in advance...

It's a bit of confusing and she needs the letter to get the passport office PCC and medical done.

The mumbai consulate generally doesn't send the packet 4's even though they say they do. You can download the packet 4 from the mumbai consulate website, and as long as you have your interview letter you are good to go.

You are correct mumai consulate will send you packet 4 with interview letter. They usually send packet 4 two 2 three weeks before your interview date. Incase if you dont receive packet 4 in time of your interview, have one of your relative go pick up duplicate copy from mumbai consulate.

Hi Desiman,

We went through Delhi so it could be a little bit different, but we also didn't get packet 4. My fiance emailed the embassy telling them that we had not received packet 4 and they emailed him back a copy of of the interview letter. He printed it out and it was fine for Medical and PCC. Like I said it may be a bit different through Mumbai, but it's worth a shot to try to email them.

Hey Desiman, I got an email from mumbai consulate that they emailed me interview letter and pkt 4 on March 26. We haven't rec'd either yet. I just sent them an email today inquiring about the letters.

Though the auto email response does state that "if you have not rec'd the interview letter 3 weeks prior to interview" you can collect it in person.

I included my email when i filed my I-129f and they sent me an email 2 months in advance and told me to get a print out of this email as your appointment letter incase if you dont get any packets.

also they sent me 9 different attachments in the email.... all forms and info letter.

Packet 4 for CR1/IR1 is interview package and my wife received it from US consulate, Mumbai. If you have NVC e-mail regarding interview date and place, use it for PCC and Medical as we did it for Medical. We got PCC without any interview letter.

We'll just wait for another 10 days to see if we receive it... if not, then we may have to have someone pick up the duplicate interview letter. I provided my email address, but nothing through that.

If there was a particular wording used to acquire the letter through email, please share with me if you don't mind.
