How to re-enter the U.S at the airport with my travel document?

My husband and I got married in the U.S last year and this is my first time going back to my country, Japan to visit my family. Although I've gotten my travel document with me, not sure HOW should I use this.

Do I need to fill out the I-94 (the white paper) again on the plane when I go back to the U.S? What kind of document should I show to immigration officer besides my travel document? Do I need to do something during my trip in Japan?

Please assist this question if anybody experienced.

Hi DMZ. Yes, upon your return you fill out the white I-94 and present it, along with your AP documents and passport, to the officer at the POE. There is nothing else you need do. They will take care of the rest of the details and then you're on your way. Have a great trip! :)

If your AP travel documents are in a married name and your passport is not, you may want to bring a copy of your marriage certificate
