Congratulations! Lots of time to prepare yourselves :)

:D First, a hewwo to Sam, and a congrats!

And then congrats to John and Mary -- whew! That's wonderful news.

Also, Monkeyjuice, good luck with the interview -- you can never be too prepared. I took more stuff than I needed, but it was better than me and Knight showing up without having enough. :D Take as many photos as you can physically carry, and be prepared to explain every single one of them. I think the fact I was pointing out places I'd been, and who was there, and who the members of the family were, said a lot to the interviewer. :D I hope you get a smiley one like we did...she was very chatty and was reassuring me that once I get through the first winter here, I should be okay. She was also very excited to tell us that she saw her first bears earlier this year, coincidentally in the same area where Knight had seen them the day before I got here (in the same month). :D It made excellent conversation.

Magpie.

oooh thanks. Your interview came through much quicker than ours didn't it? Oh well.

Also, did they ask you for updated financial stuff? My hubby is self employed so we're wondering whether to ask his employers to update the employment letters.

Not a dumb question at all, Miss G :D go to the linky here, and click on "Case Status". You can also create your username and password so you can get case status updates emailed to you. Also, if you log in, you can see by the date next to your case whether it's been touched or not. Remember that your EAD and your AOS has two separate case ID codes so use both :D.

Furious Biscuit, from what I've heard, yes -- people transferred to CSC more often than not don't get an interview. Good luck :D but the interview isn't too bad!

Monkeyjuice, remember that my hubby and I are in Alaska :P. There aren't too many people immigrating here on a regular basis, so we've charged through pretty quickly (in hindsight!). Also, it wouldn't hurt for your hubby to have updated employment letters. It not only shows his employment, but that you guys made the effort to get the letters. :D I know you won't have a problem.

Magpie.

/edit: Miss G, the case number is the number you've got on your NOA1 letter, but I'm sure you knew that already. I thought I should clarify just in case :D. It should start with "MSC..." or something.

I just wanted to say it's great seeing the progress you all have made. Lots of good news to catch up on.

EEEEEEEEEeeeee Magpie!!! Love you Sunshine.

I have been so sick and had to go back to the hospital shortly after being dismissed earlier in the month. I'm still on antibiotics and narcotics but home again as of yesterday. They said it will take a long time for this big infection in the belly to heal with just antibiotics but that's the goal, so I'm going to take it very slowly and hope things continue to heal.

Good luck to everybody waiting. May you have tons of patience while you wait. (L)

Hello nich nick.

I just read this post, i'm so sorry to hear that you have been unwell, I hope you are feeling better. all the best.

Oooh, lots of positive stuff!

Welcome Prima :D and huggums + congrats to Ellie and David! Be sure to water and feed your green card every day :P.

And thankums, FuriousBiscuit :D I was actually surprisingly calm about the interview until about ten minutes before we went through the door. But the lady conducting it was so lovely, I forgot that I was on tape for a few moments.
