... any links to anything that looks good. Let me know! :)

Did you check out http://www.vegas.com/weddings/

Yes we have looked there but that site is bit too vague. Was looking for something a bit more specific. Thanks though.

We have looked at many different options but I think there must be a few hidden gems.

Another one we have looked at - http://www.chapelintheclouds.com/ Seems cool

I've stayed in the Stratosphere, which hosts the Chapel in the clouds.

I saw the room a bit too, it's very nice.

Could you describe the room at all? Whats the view like? I think it would be really nice to get married in a nice big airy room with a great view.

Hm. It was last year, and I only got a small peek.

I didn't get to go into the actual room itself, but I would guess the windows are facing the strip.

I went to the observation deck as well, which was I think 2 levels below the wedding room.

The view is AMAZING. Especially at night. You can see down the whole strip.

The rides on the top also don't rattle the Stratosphere what so ever, so you don't feel any vibrations.

The building is also air conditioned, so there won't be any heat issues.

I would totally get married there myself, but my fiance is absolutely terrified of heights, he wouldn't go near the glass windows in the observation deck.

We also got a room in the hotel itself for 2 nights, very comfortable and surprisingly quiet, especially with the casino below.

I really do recommend the Stratosphere to anyone.

So who else here is still waiting for their NOA2?

I really can't believe how much stress and anxiety this waiting causes ... so much worry and wondering whats going on with our case :(

I do believe they may take longer on our case so we were prepared for a long wait but it still is not fun .. we met through a relative ( My father is married to a Filipina, which is my SO's cousin ) .. so I think they will be taking longer on our petition because of this ... however I don't feel we have anything to worry about as we both are madly in love and they should be able to see that from our pictures together, time spent together, chat logs everyday that we talk, phone calls etc ...

Sorry all I just felt like venting and trying to rid some of this anxiety and stress of waiting and waiting and wondering why so many Aprils have heard except for us :(

On a brighter note ... I hope everyone here has had a wonderful weekend !

www.littlechapel.com it even had a show on TLC and you can view the weddings on their website and its quite tasteful and a nice choice of flowers and the cost of the packages are quite good...Chapel of the flowers i believe is where we are going , which is across from the stratusphere.

Thanks for the dress comments everyone! :) minnew, your dress is lovely!!!

As for Vegas weddings, we looked into it a bit when we were first weighing our options, and came across some really funny ones that let you have themes and what not. Can't remember what they were now though :( If I find them, I will post them.

And SS, don't worry, there's still a good chunk of us (myself included) still waiting for NOA2. Hang in there!

Ash - I love the second dress so much more. That will be beautiful on you! :)

Attaya - I hope you'll be able to pick the dress you like. Perhaps there is a way your mom can shop with you to find the style you like the best, then have it made in Senegal?

I have to go back and see the others. I'm sure they're all beautiful!

Jacque - Can you ask after mine, too? hehe I'd completely forgotten about being able to bug NVC again. :D

It is absolutely correct, though, that K1's do NOT show up in the automated message line. I checked, just to be sure they hadn't recently changed procedure, and the automated still says they don't have our case, when the operator says they do.

Have a good week people. I hope the rest of the approvals come through this week!
