(L) Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww...this has been the best thread I've seen so far...I love reading every response.

Mine isn't my husband YET, but here's a beginning to what I love about my fiance:

He takes the time to ask how I’m doing even if he is in a hurry.

The way he says goodbye and says 5 or 6 ‘I love you’s’ and gives kisses in between over the phone.

The way he sings ‘I love you’ to me over the phone.

He is very gentle and always respectful.

How he treats me like a queen and treats my daughter like a princess.

He will do whatever it takes to take care of me and my daughter.

He is a wonderful provider.

He is a wonderful supporter.

He has strong family values.

We both share the same goal that we want a loving and successful family.

He knows how to calm me when I’m upset.

He knows what I’m thinking or about to say sometimes before I know (I still haven’t figured this out)

He is able to share his feelings.

He puts his needs aside and puts mine and my daughter’s above his own.

The way he has connected to my daughter even though they have yet to meet physically. My daughter is an extremely critical and good judge of character (yes, even at the age of 7) and she KNOWS that she wants him to be her dad.

He buys my daughter clothes and toys just because he is thinking of her. (I think he’s bought her more things than me but I like that even more about him)

He LOVES and ADORES his mother.

He is extremely intuitive and intelligent.

He has the ability to understand how I’m feeling.

He has accomplished so many things already in his life.

Once he sets his mind to something, you can consider it done at that moment.

He gets me.

He only focuses on the positive in any situation.

He is very well respected in his hometown.

He knows what is important in life and puts family first and at the same time enjoys the finer things in life.

He is leaving his family and friends and his entire country to start a new life to be with me and my daughter.

He is sooooooooooo excited about us having a baby together!

He will be a great dad.

He can tell by the sound of my voice-even when I try to hide it-that something is wrong.

He makes up his own jokes and what is the funniest is to see how he cracks himself up.

He is so thoughtful and caring and adoring.

I don’t ever doubt that I am loved completely.

He tells me he loves me for me and I believe him.

He has a soft heart and he loves that I have a soft heart too.

I love his laugh.

I love his voice.

I love his beautiful eyes.

I love his smile.

I love his laugh.

And that's just the beginning...I could go on and on! I only have 2 more nights before I will be in his arms again!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY OH WHY does he have to be so far away?!!!!!!!!!! (L)

Loving Farid is as natural to me as breathing. It's not possible for me to have met him, my perfect man, the only love of my life, and not know him. He's my twinsoul, my destiny. Our meeting is supernatural. He is the man God made for me. Praise God for his loving grace. If the question is "why i love my husband?" the only answer can be..because that's what God wants. He's my precious gift.

Aww! This is the sweetest thread EVER! (L)

Where to begin... I love my Balkan Man because...

(F) He makes me laugh every single time we talk!

(F) He is HONEST!

(F) He respects me and is proud of me

(F) He makes me feel more special and beautiful than I have ever felt before

(F) He loves to talk, but knows when not to! lol

(F) He immediately understands how I feel and what I think, even if he disagrees

(F) He is modest, even though he is brilliant and warm and hilarious!

(F) Family is important to him, both his parents/brother AND our future family (once we're married, if he gets this effin' visa!)

(F) He is open-minded and open-hearted and EASY-GOING!

(F) He is reliable. Does what he says he will, is where he says he will be, etc.

(F) He is selfless, willing to sacrifice his whole way of life to move to a strange place to be with a more-than-a-little-strange girl (me!) ;)

(F) He is protective, but never possessive or jealous.

(F) He is faithful (and finally, after 2 years of unreasonable jealousy on my part, my irrational mind has finally accepted what my logic already knew)

(F) We get all excited about the same stuff (art, travel, science, history, each other, etc)

(F) He makes me feel 100% comfortable telling him anything that is on my mind

And last, but certainly not least...

(F) He "gets me" in that special way that's hard to describe, but you know it when you've found someone who does!

plus 6 zillion more reasons I could never articulate.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

10/13/2006: Biometrics taken

10/14/2006: NOA -- case transferred to CSC
