After marriage and after changing her last name @ social security office, do we use her new last name for AOS documents like I-485, G325, and etc?

Yes, that's what we did. Used the married name for the AOS application. After all, why would we change the name and not use it for the AOS?

You use married name on I-485, I-765, I-131, IF you want green-card, EAD card, and AP doc to show married name.

If you later decide to change name on a green-card you will need to file an I-90 and pay a $300+ fee.

There are lines on the forms for "Other names used" or "Name on I-94" this is where a maiden name is noted.

NO, this is a frequent question too.

You simply carry a copy of marriage cert to show how name changed from that in passport to that on the AP doc, or green-card.

yes, mine too. i used my married name when i filed AOS

No, I don't think so.

If you like, you can update South Korean Passport.

South Korean Passport has indicated both lastname - maiden, and married - for married woman, if I remember correctly from my mom's passport.

I wanted to change my name at the SSN office. I asked my SSN after my wedding and the lady said that she has to put the name as it appears on my K1 visa. She said that they can put my new name when I'll comeback with an official document from homeland security showing my new name. I'm filing my AOS forms, so even if they didn't put my married name for the SSN can I put my new name on the AOS documents ? (I-485, I-765, I-131). BTW my new name is my husband one followed by my name.
