First off, let me say thanks for everyone who has contributed to this site. I am very grateful, and the encouragement and confidence that is shown on this page is tremendous... words can't describe.

So here goes my first issue and/or question:

I understand the K1 visa process but the K2 visa is somewhat confusing. I am applying for a K1 visa for my fiance in Germany, my daughter, yes my bilogical daughter will be accompanying her once the approval is granted (confident), but I am unsure about the forms that must accompany the packet that pertains to my daughter. I do understand that she has rights due to the fact that I am American, but with the time frame, and the cost of flights, I can't fly to Germany and meet with the consulate to start her paperwork seperate for citizenship, thus I include her on the K1 visa.

Answers please...

If your daughter is a USC she does not need a visa. I take from your post she is not a citizen. You can complete the K-2 visa forms at the same time as the K-1 visa. You will need to submit all the same forms (minus the DS-156K), medical exam, police check if over age 16. You will need a speartae I-134 affadavit of support. It is basically an exact duplicate of the forms your fiancee will use. If your daughter was listed on the I-129f, she should have been, you can have both visas issued at the same time with the same interview. You do not need to make a spearate interview for your daughter IF both visas will be issued at the same time. You also need to pay an additional $131 visa fee for your daughter.

the fact that you are american, so i guess that makes her American citizenship, as you are american either if you are born there, either your parent, or nauralisation, so..maybe if you can find if it's possible to make a US passport for her then, a visa might be not needed.

that's a clue to dig.
