Hi there, I'd love to hear from someone who had an interview in New York City recently. Please share your experience and location. Do Brooklyn people still have to go to Long Island? Someone told they've changed locations but am not sure. Thanks!!!

We haven't applied yet, but I've been looking for the same info, since my husband will be eligible to apply starting next week.

Looks like most people don't come back here much once they've finished the citizenship process.

But here are a couple of threads I bookmarked describing experiences in Garden City:

We're also Brooklynites so expecting to be sent to Garden City (though the Manhattan office would be much more convenient).

Thank you NigerLa and I.j./1999 for the info!!! I've been reading about interviews elsewhere but because New york has a large number of applicants and crazy processing times (even though it seems they're moving faster in 2009), I really wanted to get an idea of how things are done here. Thanks a bunch!!!
