And I know there is people who do this in EVERY country. But the UK, I don't see the motivation here.

My thoughts exactly.. sounds kind of weird as people from the UK usually have no problems entering the US and it is also not a country where it is bad living or anything :S

Granted, not all parts of the UK are like you see in the movies. Quaint sleepy villages and towns with moss on the roof's. However I suspect that having stuck around for three years her motivations are less likely to be fraudulant than those who come from developing countries (I mean NO slight here, it's just unlikely that this was the wife's main motivation for marrying whilst the standard of living in the UK is still relatively good and at the time she moved to the US we had a VERY stable and strong economy)

There is no way to revoke her card. Your relationship has been deemed as bona fide for the purposes of obtaining the ten year green card.

I suggest you divorce and move on with your life. I have noticed that a lot of petitioners immediately jump to the conclusion that they have been used for a green card, therefore often providing a fail safe excuse for not examining the real reasons for the break down of a marriage. Talk to your wife. Learn from both of your mistakes and move on to a happier place.

Best of luck with the rest of your life. My sympathies for what you are currently going through.

also you have to remember that there are 2 sides to every story....it takes two to tango.

Haven't heard hers yet.

I agree!

We cannot just tell that somebody is using somebody for GC once the marriage ended.

That's the sad thing about break-ups/divorce...bitterness sometimes lead us to ruin someone's life...especially those we claim to have loved. Forgive and move on...that's the best thing we can do for ourselves. :innocent:

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: China
Timeline

No Cancellation, as far as USCIS is concerned, the marriage was entered into in good faith, and approved removal of conditions.

The Green-card is PERMANENT, this is what LPR means Lawful PERMANENT Resident.

File for a divorce and move on.

Just hope the immigrant does NOT draw welfare, if they do, the government can hold you to repay this based on the I-864 you provided to sponsor the green-card.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
