I am about to be part of the waiting crew. My lawyer is about to mail both our AOS/IV packets to NVC either today or Monday at the latest, so I am guessing NVC will receive them by Tues. 03/31 at the latest.

i'm waiting too, they should fix up the problem with IV fee , they told me to wait 10-15 working days

Princess, I heard the same and have the same problem, but was told as long as we have the cover sheets the online thing won't freeze our case.

You're fine. Don't start to worry yet.

Mailed my RFE back last week....waiting...

At least I know I'll be seeing my husband in 61 days (but not in the US- Istanbul for vacay).

That's strange. Did you include the coversheet on top when sending in the IV? Normally, the coversheet would be the proof that you paid. Don't know why it would take them 3 weeks to fix, I would call everyday or ask to speak to a senior supervisor.

Not to worry too much, I was like you guys last week. pananoid, and anxious, worry, can't sleep. keep thinking NVC. Please look at my timelines. I sent out on 03-07, NVC received on 03-12, call everyday.. all the sudden I called on last saturday, and AVR telling me. I am approved on 03-20. Just to call tomorrow, or friday, and I am sure ALL of you will be approve like me. good luck to all.

Push your lawyer to do it today so it'll be delviered by Monday. Sooner the better.

I know the secretary is working on finalizing things for us but at this point I have pushed as much as I could short of actually going over to his office and putting the pen in his hand :lol: And yes the idea crossed my mind lol It even crossed my mind to grab the files and mail them myself!! It's still 3:45 p.m. and I am hoping I will get an email from her at the end of the day saying it was just sent out. If not, they will definitely hear from me on MONDAY!!

OMG I AM SO EXCITED!!! Just when I thought we would have to wait till Monday, WOOFREAKINHOO, I get an email from my lawyer stating the package is being overnited tonite and will get to NVC by Monday!! :dance::dance::dance: YAYYYYYY Happy Friday indeed! I can now have a nice relaxing weekend as it's now out of my hands and lawyer's hand. I hope our ride on the NVC express is a smooth one!

I'm a little behind you guys ... I'm just wondering, when exactly is it safe to pay the IV fee? The AVR said the AOS and DS-3032 was generated last Wednesday. On Wednesday, I overnighted the DS-3032 that my husband had already signed (I generated the barcode and stuck it on). On Thursday, I sent them the Wiki email as a backup. I got the AOS/IIN and DS-3032 form in the mail today. Paid the AOS fee online. Won't do anything with the DS-3032 (right?).

I'm hoping the DS-3032 will be accepted Monday or Tuesday, and I'll hear that on the AVR. Can I pay the IV fee right then if it shows up on the NVC website? Or should I confirm with a rep that it's okay to pay?

I'll have everything ready to send once I get my husband's police docs, birth certificate, and passport photos by courier, hopefully on Tuesday ... and of course I'll print out the NVC website coversheets once they're cleared as PAID.

If you plan on paying online, I believe it's safe to pay as soon as the option appears at the payment website online. As soon as they accept your DS-3032, the IV payment option will no longer be greyed out online and you can select it to pay. Until they accept the DS-3032, you won't have the option to pay online. You can always check with a rep of course before paying online to be safe.

If you plan on paying mailing it in, you will have to wait until you get the invoice. You have to include the invoice stub with your payment, or else they may lose it. They ususally email the invoice now to the agent you listed on the DS-3032, as long as you provided the email address. If you did not provide the email address, they will mail it to the agent.

Note that paying online normally takes 2-3 days to clear before you have access to the coversheet. Mailing the payment can take 2-3 weeks.

this is what we have done and our case is delayed now because they said that we have paid it too early before it was invoiced even if it was available to be paid at the website , vivian better wait until the AVR says that the IV fee was generated

Hi Princess - I think it was your situation that prompted my question. Thanks - and I will make sure it's invoiced before paying online. I'll call tomorrow and have them email the invoice to me. Sounds like you have to give it to a rep in order for them to do that. Hope your situation is resolved soon!

Don't pay it until you receive the email saying that its available to pay, I saw the IV was there and ready to be paid and did so, then it got rejected a few days later, then I had to wait another working day until I could pay it, the operator told me its cos the paperwork hasn't been produced so the payment which goes on in some other place has nothing to tie itself into so it just rejects. Before you pay either wait for the email or call the operator and ask is it ok to pay. It delayed me over a week waiting for it to sort itself out.

Even I am waiting for my case to complete at NVC. They scanned it on 11th of March but we had a RFE and it was Re-Scanned in there system on 19th of March. Hoping it completes quick. Best of Luck to All.

Finally!! COOL ..Ours now reflects both bills as paid as well. Let's hope it stays that way lol

I am now officialy part of the people waiting for case completion as both our AOS/IV packet was received by NVC this morning...Now waiting for it to be scanned into the sytem and for case review to begin. Hoping for a smooth ride with no bumpy RFEs!! :star:
