Hi Everyone,

While we have been waiting for the NOA2 Approval, thought of atleast preparing for the NVC process. So for all those who are in NVC or have completed NVC Process, please help as i need some clarifications on the DS-3032:

1. At the top right corner, the form mentions - 'EXPIRATION DATE: 12/31/2006'. Is this an outdated form? if yes, where can i get the latest one?

2. Top right cornet also mentions 'ESTIMATED BURDEN: 10 minutes". Is this ok or do i need to search for another form?

3. When I say "I Appoint...." do i need to put in my Husband's Full Name as in First, Middle and Last Name? or Last, First, and Middle Name? or just First and Last Name?

4. For Telephone Number, does it ahve to be same as that entered on the forms submitted to USCIS?

5. Does all the data entered in the form need to be in All Capitals?

6. Is it ok if i sign the form and then scan and send a copy of the same to my husband? or do i need to send the Original Form on which i signed?

Awaiting some quick and gud replies.

Regards

1) The date at upper right corner is the date that DOS needed to complete a survey for OMB Office of Management and Budget for the paper-work reduction act, it is NOT the form's expiration. The form is still valid. http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/80023.pdf

2) This has to do with #1 above, it is an idea how long it takes the applicant, petitioner, or beneficiary to fill out the form.

3) First, Middle, Last, is the convemtion that they expect.

4) NO, it can be a current number that is easy to get someone at.

5) NO, most just enter Names in caps.

6) Yes, is fine.

OR you can simply use this format and email it to NVC: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

You can e-mail or fax the DS-3032 to your SO. They can sign and fax it or e-mail it back to you. Better yet, your SO can e-mail it to NVC. Then you need to send your hard copy, by snail mail to NVC.
