Hello again. My (AOS) just showed as paid and it gave me a like to the Affidavit of Support Form. I was wondering which one is the right one there I-864 and I-864EZ

and for the I-864 theres a list of things to send. but with the I-864EZ theres nothing listed to send, so do you send no forms for the I-864EZ? Im just trying to get it ready ahead of time. Also will they E-mail me the forms or Mail them? or do i have to print them?

If i print them i have to use the printed barcode right?

But if they Email it or mail it i dont cuz the barcode is already on the form right?

Lol sorry for all the questions but NVC is busy and tommarow they will be closed.

Also do i have to wait for my DS-3032 to be approved before i send the I-864?

Thanks

Thanks in advance, Raj

Wow!!! Login failed. :D

Thank you everybody. Raj, I've sent out DS-230 packet on October 26, it arrived to NVC next day, on October 27. DS-230 was entered into the NVC system on October 31.

I indeed got checklist email, but already after I sent my packet. I printed cover sheet with the bar code which was obviously enough to get the case moved.

Robotica97,

Once you are ready with all your documents, print the cover sheet from the NVC Payment site and send that along with DS-230 and other required documents. That is standard process for NVC to send an email once I-864 is approved, i got the same message...check my signature and also others got similar email too....

Good Luck!!

Hi Forum, hope somebody can help me. The IV Package bill has been paid and already shows as paid on the NVC system. I know that the next step is to print the coversheet and send my daughters DS-230 within her civil documents, wich I havent done because I am waiting for some documents that I am missing :crying: . Today I had received an email from NVC, they are sending me the Checklist Letter Response, and on the 3rd page saids these:

"The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). Please submit the form according to the

instructions"

Does this means that I can send the DS-230 first and then all my daughters civil documents or I must wait to have them all in order to send them along with her DS-230.

Know which coversheet will I have to use, the one I printed from the NVC system the day the IV Package showed as paid, or this one I had just received via email.

Sorry for so many questions. Hope somebody can help.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

Raj

You can email DS3032 as it doesnt need signature...use the VJwiki email template..atleast it will be in queue at NVC and later you can mail the DS3032.

You can fill I-864 and get it ready and as soon as the status changes to PAID, you can print the cover sheet and you can mail. You need last 6 months paystubs, employment letter, W2's, IRS tax transcripts.

I am still waiting for my dad's ds3032, right after i got it, i will send to NVC the ds3032 via email, and also let my parents send to NVC a paper ds3032. so since i alread paid the AOS fee, should i fill out I864 to NVC or i have to wait for them to ask me to? also what else do i need to send with I864, i ordered the IRS tax transcripts for last 3 years. anything alse i need to send along with the I864?

Thanks

Raj

CONGRATULATIONS Nancy1980 to you and your parents!!!!!

Thanks for posting the interview experience.

Hello,

I havent had a chance to post the interview details since I just got back to the States today. The interview was on 11/05 at 8am. I took some originales and copies of all the paperwork. We got there and they let me in since I am the petitioner. We got inside and after 10 mins. they called my mom but we all three of us went to the window. They just wanted to verify that they had all the paperwork and they gave me back some copies that they didn't need anymore. We went back to sit down for about 45 mins( it was a long wait....my dad was sleeping most of that time) and then we were called to go to another window. The lady asked my mom and dad to sign the DS 230 (the last page) and then made us to swear that everything was true. Then, she started asking some questions to us.

How long have they been married?

If I was conceived after they got married?

How many children do they have and where do they live?

If they have ever stayed in US more than 6 months while they were using their turist visa?

Also the lady asked me, where do I live and where do I work? Since I am not working at this moment I told them that I am a full time student and I am doing my externship now. then, she asked me for my husband's (sponsor) and son's name and where they were born. After that, she said : "We have all the paperwork and everything is right, so I will issue the visa and welcome to America"

It was very quick no even 10 minutes. My parents and I were very excited and they picked up the visa today from DHL.

I am very happy that this process is over...Once again, thank you guys for the guidance in this process...

Thanks,

Raj

Muslimqueen,

You have to mail(Postal) Affidavit of Support form along with required documents like (last 6 months pay stubs, employment letter, W2s, IRS tax transcripts) along with the DOCUMENT COVER SHEET that you will print it from the payment website. You dont have to wait until your DS3032 is approved, you can send anytime now....

Document cover sheet will have barcode...Why do you care when NVC is closed or busy...your duty is to fill the forms correctly and send them as when they are ready and rest leave it to NVC.

Thank you vveell for the information. I mailed it on 23-Oct(Fri) and it was delivered to NVC on 26-Oct(Mon) and got checklist email on 29-Oct in regards to missing DS-230 and on 30-Oct AVR changed to received checklist response on 29-Oct-2009. We both have similar timeline...and expecting to hear good news soon....

I talked to the operator last evening and he said it is in review process and it takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 weeks from 29-Oct-2009.

Thanks, Raj

and for the I-864 theres a list of things to send. but with the I-864EZ theres nothing listed to send, so do you send no forms for the I-864EZ? Im just trying to get it ready ahead of time. Also will they E-mail me the forms or Mail them? or do i have to print them?

If i print them i have to use the printed barcode right?

But if they Email it or mail it i dont cuz the barcode is already on the form right?

Lol sorry for all the questions but NVC is busy and tommarow they will be closed.

Also do i have to wait for my DS-3032 to be approved before i send the I-864?

Thanks

Muslimqueen

Muslimqueen,

You have to mail(Postal) Affidavit of Support form along with required documents like (last 6 months pay stubs, employment letter, W2s, IRS tax transcripts) along with the DOCUMENT COVER SHEET that you will print it from the payment website. You dont have to wait until your DS3032 is approved, you can send anytime now....

Document cover sheet will have barcode...Why do you care when NVC is closed or busy...your duty is to fill the forms correctly and send them as when they are ready and rest leave it to NVC.

Hello again. My (AOS) just showed as paid and it gave me a like to the Affidavit of Support Form. I was wondering which one is the right one there I-864 and I-864EZ

"After the petitioner (sponsor) has paid the Affidavit of Support processing fee, the petitioner (sponsor) is contacted by the NVC. You are ready for the next step in the immigration process, which is to download the necessary forms, complete them, and then submit them for the purpose of sponsoring the intending immigrant."

"IF the petitioner has received notification from the NVC, please read the Affidavit of Support Instructions and download the appropriate form(s)."

I don't know what else it can be clearer? READ, READ, and READ.

Muslimqueen,

Petitioner needs to sign the Affidavit of Support form.

Also sorry for another question but who signs the (AOS) form i know the sponser signs it but dose the beneficiary also have to sign it?

Muslimqueen,

You will not get any email from NVC in regards to Affidavit of Support as to how you need to send. Once the AOS fee is paid, print out the cover sheet and mail affidavit of support form along with required documents to NVC ( the address is listed on the Document Cover sheet ).
