Received my interview letter today. Interview is for December 2, 2009!!! Good luck to those with upcoming interviews, and for those who are almost done with NVC, just hang in there!

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

smithjohnatpa, you can take the print out from the US Mumbai Consulate which lists the required documents for DS-230 and you can use I-130 approved notice and also you can send them the DS-230 Document Cover sheet for the proof that Police Certificate is required for DS-230 processing. It clearly states on US Consulate site ( Mumbai or Chennai)....I think i saw some one from this forum got PCC and they are also from Ahemadabad, Gujarat.....let me find who that is.................

Still if they dont issue then all you can do is you send DS-230 documents to NVC without PCC and if they issue RFE then you can show them that letter and can get PCC....atleast your application will in processing with NVC.....Sorry to say this...but i cannot think of anyother alternative......GURUS please answer Smithjohnatpa..question.....

Alright here is the one from Gujarat..replied to me through person email and it is... DHRUVRON can you answer smithjohnatpa for specific question he has since he is also from same place..............

"I am Indian but here sinces last couple years. I applied for my spouse he lives in a'bad Gujarat. Passport office dont give pcc untill he will get interview letter so we are just sending local pcc copy as original he needs to sumbit to get pcc from Passport office. I hate a'bad Passport office "

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

______IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION:__________________________________

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review. You will find the DS-230 form

along with complete instructions for submitting the civil documentation required for this case at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov under the Applicant Document Processing link.

We urge you to send in the DS-230 form(s) and required civil documentation for each traveling family

member in one package to the National Visa Center (NVC). Sending the information in separately may

cause delays in the processing of the case.

______FEE PAYMENT:_________________________________________________

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support (I-864). However, we are still waiting for the

Immigrant Visa fee(s). Please submit the fee(s) according to the instructions on the IV fee bill sent to

you from NVC. DO NOT SEND FEE PAYMENTS TO THE NVC NEW HAMPSHIRE FACILITY.

THIS WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF THE VISA. If you have not received an IV fee bill, please

contact NVC. Do not pay the fees unless you have the accompanying IV fee bill as this will result in a

delay in processing your case.

Probably Yes. In my case this is true.

After paying IV bills, once we get DS230 checklist by email, does that mean OR can we say I864 is approved/accepted?

Raj do we have anywhere to see sample of checklist, because once I will get email back with checklist I want to see if local police station will accept this and issue PCC.

Hello Tay / Richard,

I need you guys opinion, My parents submited DS230 to NVC. Now I was reading a copy of DS230, and I notice they type/put my brothers birth day wrong. Now DS230 are at NVC, but I want to make that correction. Because if my parents later want to Apply for my brother, will be not a problem??

2nd : I dont want my parents file on hold in NVC?? Please help me...I want to contact NVC for correction.

05/04/11 Waiting.......I am pregnant and I wish my Mom could be here when baby is born

05/23/11 Received email. Case approved. Yeahhhhhh

05/26/11 Received NOA 2 in the mail.

06/07/11 NVC received case.

06/08/11 Called to give emails and got IIN.

06/10/11 Sent DS3032 email and paid AOS fee. Received auto response 15 seconds later.

06/14/11 AOS Showed Paid. Sent AOS Package.

06/16/11 NVC Received and accepted DS3032. AOS Package was delivered to NVC.

06/17/11 Paid IV fee.

06/22/11 IV Showed Paid.

06/23/11 Sent DS-230 via Express Mail.

06/24/11 DS 230 was delivered by USPS.

06/28/11 AOS was accepted per AVR.

06/30/11 Received AOS check list. Missing DS-230. (It was sent 06/23/11)

07/07/11 Case Complete per AVR and operator. Waiting for interview date.

08/01/11 Per NVC Operator Interview date 09/28/11

09/26/11 Medical test. Passed!!!!

09/28/11 Interview date @ BGT embassy. Approved!!!!!!!

10/06/11 Visa arrived.

10/19/11 Arrived to USA. POE ORLANDO

11/14/11 Received Green Card

My IV bills showed PAID today so when would I expect DS230 checklist by email or mail?

I called NVC this morning. My was case completed yesterday, Oct. 30th. Waiting fro the interview...

10/02/2009: Received NOA2

10/12/2009: DS3032 sent by email

10/22/2008: I864 sent

10/26/2009: DS3032 accepted

10/29/2009: IV bill generated got email and PAID

11/04/2009: Got checklist email for DS230

12/01/2009: (needed some time to collect documents so here it got some delayed) Sent DS230

12/04/2009: DS230 delivered

12/08/2009: DS230 Received Updated AVR

12/15/2009: Login failed

12/18/2009: Case completed as per AVR - no email yet for interview date

12/28/2009: Got Interview schedule email - Scheduled on 02/22/2010 (hoorrayyy)

01/25/2010: Medical Appointment

01/25/2010: Medical Done

02/22/2010: Interview Done - Visa issued.

05/20/2010: US Entry - Washington DC IAD.

06/10/2010: Received Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/28/2010: Received GC for Mom, still waiting for DAD

06/30/2010: Received GC for Dad

07/01/2010: applied for SSN

07/08/2010: Received SSN card in mail.
