If you have this fee paid already, where did you pay?

Thank you,

Viktoriya went to Kiev for her medical exam two weeks before the interview and paid the fee then. She left with me after the visa was delivered to Fedex, and wanted to have everything possible done before the day of the interview. I understood that you can pay at any Procredit Bank, but there were none in her city. Good Luck!

Ok I was just doing some more research on the USCIS site about NVC and the process. I have found a document that is from the Embassy in Kiev that states "Visa fee. Effective January 1, 2009, the Embassy is not refunding erroneously paid MRV fees of $131 to immigrant visa applicants. No immigrant fees are paid at Consular Section if the petitioner paid $400 to NVC.

So does this mean we no longer need to go to ProCredit bank and pay this fee if we paid the 400 dollar fee to NVC with the DS-230? Anyone know the correct answer?

Thanks,

Al

Since you are CR-1/IR-1, there is no fee to pay in country. You pay the $400 IV fee to NVC, and the $70 AOS fee to NVC. They will send you these bills in the mail after your I-130 is approved.

Done for 3 years or 10 years. Haven't decided yet.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!
