We will be sending our AOS application soon. But we are also moving and haven't decided on a new place. We don't want our AOS mail to get lost during the transition period and are thinking of setting up a PO Box.

Is it okay to put a PO Box as mailing address on our AOS forms? That is, can USCIS' mailings be delivered to PO Boxes? I understand only USPS delivers to PO Boxes?

Thanks very much for your input.

yes..i actually just came across a user who had his USCIS mail delivered to a PO box. just rem to be consistent...don't start with one address and then switch...for some reason that always tends to complicate things.

That is true, well done Partner !...

In addition, may I add something ?

Explain on a piece of paper why you are using PO Box instead of home address.

You will be asked to prove your common residence other than PO Box :D during the interview.

Thanks FRJ and Cino.

For proving that we live together we are submitting our joint lease and mails that we have received at the same address. Hope that should be sufficient?

We want to avoid joint bank accounts because they take time and we are kind of in a rush to file before my H1B expires.
