Hi I just got a I-797C notice of action from my denied K1 visa

it says

"This is to advise you that we have recieved the above application or petition back from the department of state, along with their request that it be reviewed. We will notify you of any action we take on this case.

I thought K1 expired after 4 months. Anybody ever get this?

K-1 Visa

I have one right now. It is standard to let you know your case is officially back at USCIS.

Give Generously, Live Fully, Laugh Often, Love Completely...AND PRAY ALWAYS!!!

He is home!!!

How's married life? You are back in the US now, right?

Yeah im leaving aprl 10th for Vietnam again to pick up the marriage certificate and will come back on april 25th. I plan to file for a CR1 in May or June depening on how long it will take to gather enough info. I have allot of confidence she will be comeing here to live with me in about 1 year with any luck. Married life will be much better once we are living together.

Great to hear. Did you find any more places to get familiar food at a decent price?

I tried that burger place on pature street 122A Best Burgers in Town. The actuall name is I love Burgers the burgers were like McDonalds I had one and it was good ordered a second one and couldn't finish it because it was not cooked all the way very bloody. I also tried amigoes steak house they have a buffet everyday not to bad but the burgers were the vietnam meat so were the tacos so It wasn't very good. The steak was ok. I also ate at Milwalkie bar and grill again had a steak from New Zealand, decent steak but burgers there very bad.

After we get the marriage certificate we will be getting out of the city I hope we will find some decent places to eat at. I will let you know when I get back.
