Cristy,

You have a double load of stress happening so I fully appreciate why you want to make sure all of your 'ducks' are lined up nicely in a row - you have a lot on your plate to worry about right now:-). Yes, I was nervous the week before my interview as well. I think I double checked everything several times a day and left extra early for the flight to Montreal just to make sure I didn't have any delays. My move south wasn't for several weeks so I didn't have to deal with that stress at the same time. Just think - this is probably going to be one of the most stressful times in your life and it a good opportunity for both of you to learn a little bit more about each other. Your fiance has only had the papers a week. This is important to him as well, so he will do his job and get them to you in time. Just let him know that you have been nagging because you are stressed and this is so important to you - and apologize with a smile. It will all work out. Good luck at the interview and with the move.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Cristy if you think this is frustrating, wait til your AOS! ;)

It'll all be over in a few years. Pace yourself!

 Well now that is encouraging!

I am just one of those people who gets so stressed and I know I am driving him nuts with all my worrying. I need to learn to chill.

Thanks ktmmansgal, I really was just venting about the stress and what it is doing to me not about our relationship.

Welcome, welcome, welcome --- I know that the AOS process takes time but, at least you will be together so when things get stressful, you share it with your spouse/mate --- The time leading up to our interview (even though we knew we would be submitting a waiver) was one of the more stressful times in my life but we are on the other end of it and still waiting... Do -- find a relaxing outlet when you get settled, take it one step at a time and when you do get that Visa after your interview --- make your drive safe and fun for the kids ---

I am totally stressed with my interview coming next week and with all I have to do before we move. We are hoping to move on July 1st if I am approved.

Casey is being his usual procrastinating self and I still don't have the I134 or other stuff. I know it takes 1 day when he sends stuff fedex but I want it now so I know it is here and I am not worrying. But every time I remind him he says I am nagging!

I am a person who needs all my ducks in a row and a solid plan and he is the it will all work out guy.

This last couple of weeks has been so stressful and we are arguing over everything. I just want this to be over! :crying:

I am sure you will do fine! Remember, you are almost there!! Good luck !!!

Hurray!

And by the way, I have the same problem with my guy. He procrastinates a lot, and I'm just like you in that I need everything done yesterday to feel comfortable. But I lived with him all last year, and it wasn't as much of a problem then because if he took awhile doing something I was right there to see exactly why that was. So I bet when you start living together you'll see that problem diminish. And of course, if all goes well, let's hope your relationship is never tested as much as it is through the immigration process again!
