Could be a silly question re: Driving licence application

I'm aware that this could be a daft question! Reading another thread about getting a drivers licence I found out that in WI I don't need to wait for my EAD to apply (thank you so much MrsJohnson06!). So I've found the application form and one of the boxes needs me to fill in hair colour. Now my natural hair colour is brown, however for the past 2/3 years I have been dying it permanently black (and I don't see me stopping!). Which colour do you think I should put in there? I guess it makes sense to put the colour brown in there because thats my natural colour, however it's clearly not brown! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you and I'm sorry if this is a silly question!

Nicola

My hair color changes probably twice yearly so I put down my natural hair color. I don't think they've ever thought about women (and men) changing their color

Do you suppose that those people who color their hair with wild colors don't put down their natural color? Should a person put "blue" or "green" if that's the color it happens to be that month?

go ahead and put brown OR black .... i'm sure a police officer will not give you an infraction if you get pulled over for having a different hair color than what is mentioned on your license!!!

I think you're required to put your natural hair colour.

Agreed.. it's supposed to be your natural hair color...

I told them red (natural) but they argued I was blonde because of the highlights so I let them put blonde. Put whatever matches your picture at the time best.

In my state, they don't let you just enter any haircolor, they've got tick boxes next to little abreviations. My hair is red, but there was no "red" choice. BLK, BRO, BND were the only choices. I chose brown becuase it's closer than black or blonde. But still not my hair color.
