Hello. My fiancee' and I have received our NOA1 and she (beneficiary) needs to move. I was wondering if anyone here knows how to go about letting USCIS know about her address change so when the case is forwarded to the foreign embassy its SURE to get to her. Are there any forms or is it just a simple phone call? Any help/advice would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

Here ya go...

USCIS Change of address

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

USCIS Change of address

I think the above is for immigrants already admitted to the US.

I changed my husbands adress. I waited until after the approval and when I knew it was at NVC, I called and they changed it for me right over the phone. I also emailed the consulate once NVC forwarded the case just to be safe.

worked for us

I didnt want to muck anything up at the service center level. I would wait until you get to NVC.

Good Luck

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
