i looked in approved petitions data and see average is between 1 to 6 weeks and more precisely 2-4 weeks most of the time GRRRRRRRRR.........................damned a$$wipes this USCIS

are you speaking of the RFE and the time from receipt to approval?

So... I emailed my congressional immigration specialist... her response was... basically... there is nothing she can do... I am free to visit my fiancee whenever I want!

Time to get a new congressman :)

Definitely! Mine's pretty useless too. I won't be voting for him in 2010 either way, but if he supports amnesty for illegals down the road I'm seriously going to blow a gasket.

Time to get a whole new government !!!!!!! We voted for one hopefull to replace another asswipe and it seemed like we replaced one with another asswipe. ALL is a big pile of BULLPLOP

VSCvictim, just out of curiosity, have you received notice yet that VSC received your RFE response and resumed processing your case?

More good news! I just called NVC, and they sent our file to Korea today! :dance:

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!! It's about dam time!!! CONGRATULATIONS BUD! NOW is when the big big hugs come in!! I'm so happy for you!!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

QUICK EDIT: Just because I'm an April filers doesn't mean I've forgotten everyone waiting...I get just as happy as I was that day when I see someone is approved (finally!!!) from here! Good luck to everyone else waiting!!

NVC Received : 09/08/09

NVC Left : 09/09/09 per NVC (called 9/11/09 and they told me it was sent!)

Consulate Received : 9/11/09

Packet: Never received. The consulate was nice enough to send us a letter via email, along with a list of approved doctors and translators. My fiance can easily pick up the forms required when he goes for his medical and translations.

*Update 11/26/09* Medical complete! Picking up the packet was smooth and easy! One week until our interview!! Can't wait!!

Interview Date: 12/03/09

Call from embassy to go pick up his passport with visa!: 12/11/09

Visa in Hand!

POE: Charlotte

Date of Arrival: 12/26/09

Date of Marriage: 02/21/10

AOS package sent: 3/22/2010 via FEDEX

Biometrics letter received: 04/08/2010

Received letter that AOS was transferred to California! 4/19/2010

Biometrics appointment: 4/30/2010

Green Card approved: 5/25/2010

Green Card received: 06/08/2010
