I-751 sent to California for 2 weeks now and heard nothing.

Hi all,

I was a little worried because I sent my I-751 application about 2 weeks ago to California and heard nothing.I am from Arizona and assumed that they must have my package in 3 days maximum after I mailed it.Is this normal now since VSC applications were transferred in CSC?I check the bank and the Check wasn't cashed-in either.What should I do?

Sorry to hear that.

if you have proof of delivery from USPS, then you could maybe check with USPS, and make sure that they put your package into the right PO BOX.

i don't think it is helpful to call USCIS because they will normally just ask you to wait, or tell you your petition might have been lost in the mail.

you might want to prepare your petition again in case you have to re-submit your petition.

if i were you, i would maybe wait for another 2 weeks before i resubmit the petition

Thanks for your reply.I guess I will just wait for few more days. I just want to know if there's other VJ member who filed also about 2 weeks ago in California service center and already recieved NOA.Anyone? PLS reply to my post

I too am in Arizona and I sent in our petition on Monday (3-2-09) evening. I sent it certified mail and saw that it was received on Wednesday (3-4-09). Today (Saturday) I saw that the check cleared my bank. I don't know what to tell you other than keep checking with your bank. I will let you know when I receive the NOA1.

It took about 3 weeks for my check to clear - so maybe there is just a slight delay. I would worry only if it goes more than 4 weeks. Good Luck

I just sent in a personal check from my own bank account. I couldn't believe that today, Monday 3-9-09, we received NOA1. Please keep me posted what happens. I will be curious to see if we both get sent for Biometrics around the same time.

Oh! Wow! 17 days for CSC?! You don't live in some hard to find rural area, do ya? What's the stamp date on the envelope?

Actually it's 14 days sorry I put 17 instead hehe.Yep, 2 weeks I do not know why it took so long but at least today finally got my NOA 1 year extension.
