anyone else experiences delays, "touches"

Hey Everyone,

I received my NOA1 for both the I-130 and the K3 in Mid July and Mid Aug of 08 and still have not heard anything from VSC. Anyone else having a problem?

Also how do you find out if your application has been "touched"? When I check status on line it just says it is pending and has no further info.

Look at the last updated column when you log-in to the USCIS website. There are a number of people still waiting from Mid July for approvals, you should be hearing soon though.

I had applied for a fiance visa in Jan 07, petition was approved in May 07, fiance had his interview at Cario US Embassy in Aug 07. File was returned to USCIS (California Center) from Cairo in April 08 and no word from them since then except for: your file is beign reviewed in time, it could take 24 months. I got congressman involved and even the State Department Ombudsman for USCIS. Finally had enough and went to Egypt last month, got married and are starting new I-130 and K 3 as soon as possible.
