The immunization form from the medical visit in Brazil (Oct. 08) states that the Td serie is complete.

Today the Civil surgeon said it needs to be Td-ap. Her cost: $65

Did anyone had any issue with Td-ap vs Td?

By the way, the Santa Clara County Dept of Health clinic charges $45 for the immunization ($15 for the vaccine and $30 for a "consultation" fee), with no reduced fee for low-income people. I was reading that some of you are talking about "free" immunizations through their local County. Is this something else? Do you have pointers. please?

Thank you.

You can read what the CDC says in this document. Footnote 1 is Td/Tdap http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/PDF/wk/mm5753-Immunization.pdf

We're just back from the County Health Center and we did the TB test at the same time as the Td-ap immunization, even if it is not required, but just in case :)

We paid $67.50 for the whole thing.

Now we need to find a civil surgeon who will charge $25 or less to transcribe the immunizations. The CS we went to this morning was totally dishonest and wanted to overcharge us, but I have a feeling there are many like her around.
