Had a search for this but coulden't find the answer.

If my fiancee requires a co-sponsor for the I-134 yet their financial situation changes between then and having to apply for AOS and the I-864 do we have to still use the co-sponsor or can she just sponsor me herself?

On a side issue - IF we do need the co-sponsor for the I-864 do they have to see the full 10 year requirement through to the end even if we get ourselves into a position of being able to support ourselves (which we will be).

Thanks again!

Come AOS time you will re-evaluate the need for a co-sponsor.

The I-864 is in effect for the entire time unless one of the "termination" criteria are met. The ability of the alien to become self supporting is not one of them.

The termination criteria are: 40 quarters of qualified work (not always just an automatic 10 years), alien becomes a USC, alien departs the country, death (either alien or sponsor)

YMMV
