I am about to file my I-129F application for my Alla and her adopted boy.

Is there any of his paperwork that needs to accompany the initial application?

My understanding is no but all documentation related to her adoption of the little one will be needed at the interview.

Is this correct?

no, just named on the petition... all the paperwork for the K-2 comes at the time at the consulate

You are correct sir.

Your fiancee has a common Russian name. Is she from Russia or Ukraine? I suggest you add this information to your profile and go to the "portals" when you sign on to your VJ account. It is the best way to keep up with things in your consulate, news of the country, other members with fiancees/spouses from that country, etc.

Also there are some finer points to the interview process with a child, especially completeing the forms, etc. VJ is an outstanding website, but has little in the way of forms for fiancees with children. Feel free to contact me when you get to that stage.
