Do the IOs have ALL the paperwork from the original submission, embassy interview, AOS and removing conditions in front of them when you take the citizenship interview?

Very hard to believe they would!!

Our paperwork must be over a foot high by now. What happens to it all? Where do they store it and for how long?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Yes they do have "the file" when they interview, sometimes a detail in the file that was misrepresentation comes up to bite the person at this time.

There was a thread a while back about a couple from the Philippines that misrepresentation their marriage status when immigrating to the USA, and only when they applied for citizenship did this detail come to light, and the couple ended up facing deportation.

Yes, they do have all of that paperwork, I saw my file during my interview, it was chubbier than a yellowpages book, seriously, so, they must store it somewhere and I imagine they keep the paperwork forever, just like the FBI keeps records of all of us. I agree they keep track of everything you did or said, that's why it is important to be truthful.

Wife also saw her file, said it was over three inches thick. I just commented, yeah, mostly all triplicates. I made all those copies and wore out my copying machine in the process.
