feb case complete NVC

Hi all. I'm with you. Our case was completed Feb. 27.

Do we really have to call the manila embassy or the NVC? to learn of our interview date? Or should we just wait for the notice taht will be sent to the us, the beneficiaries?

If we do call the embassy or the NVC (whichever is correct) and learn that we have an interview date already, what do we do next?

And for how many times my husband tried to called NVC he always spoke with rude/strict representatives till one night before we sleep I ask him if i can call NVC and be the one to ask for our Interview sched., so thanks god he answered my prayers coz the one who answered my call was a very nice man that in the end he gave me our interview date/time schedule. Hello MMW. Just want to ask some question. We received our noa2 last feb 19 and my fiance called nvc march 3 and a live operator told him that they are processing our case and my fiance plan to call again next week march 9. Is it ok if I call nvc too? and what would I say to them and what's the number? should I ask about our mnl number and set for our interview date? I amjust worried coz I heard from friends that theirs took only 3-5 days at nvc and they already get mnl. pls hepl. salamat.

you can reach NVC by calling (603) 334-0700 and follow the messages to speak to an operator. I am not that familiar with the K-1 process. But from what i have heard once NVC gets the case from USCIS they just check the documents and then forward the case to the Embassy. and the Embassy will be the one to set the interview date. You can ask them for your NVC number you will need the NOA-2 number when you call also beneficiary name and birth date as well as petitioner's name and birth date. Hopefully someone familiar with the K-1 process can help more but it will be the Embassy to set the interview date not NVC for your type visa. Also the Embassy website has a good explanation of the process for you along with the package 3 you will need to fill out. You can download it from their website. Good Luck and see if you can get someone that has been through the K-1 process.

We are a K-1 also. Here is what we did:

> Call NVC every day until they give you your MNL case number.

> The telephone number for NVC is: 603-336-0700.

> After you get your MNL case number, call the USEM to schedule an interview.

> The telephone number for USEM is: 888-877-9888.

> That phone number is for the USEM Call Center. They make interview appointments.

> You will have to buy an $18 PIN in order to talk to them.

> The $18 PIN is good for up to four calls (my experience).

> Don't listen to them when they tell you to call back in two weeks.

> Call them every day.

> When you get tired of the script they read at the Call Center, call Grace or Lorraine at the USEM.

> Grace or Lorraine will help you set an interview date.

> You can call Grace or Lorraine at: 2-301-2000 extension 5184 or extension 5185.

> If you are calling from the U.S., the number is: 011-63-2-301-2000.

> This phone number is always busy...so keep trying...don't give up.

hmmm.. i thought there's no more document verifications anymore? Did the USEM bring it back already?

Oh my ! I have read it before somewhere...the document may be outdated. There's no instruction actually in the my appointment letter to pay. Maybe that's why there no SMS Reply...

Hello everyone, Just wanted to start this thread to get an idea of where we all are as far as April interviews and Feb. case completes. Post here if you got a case complete from NVC in February and also update when you receive the interview date. My wife's case was completed on Feb. 26th.

Did you expidited your NVC process?

Seems it only took shorter time for you to get the interview date.
