I made hubby buy some strawberry ice cream from Fresh&Easy the other day.. weird that place, looks like our old tesco's in braintree, set out the same but has ####### all Brit stuff, like the ribs from there and the BBQ packs of chicken, sausages and burgers. Just not anything else that I'd been pining for, We ended up going to get some golden syrup from world market a few weeks ago too.. was going to use it to bake these cookie recipes Mum had given me but it's too tempting, sitting on the shelf taunting me saying there's a spoon.. or you could just drink me O_o lol

**BUMP**

Hey oldtimers -- what's up? I'm off to London in six days for work-type stuff and I am SO pleased that the pound is weak. I was walking around Target yesterday, looking for little vests to wear under low-cut tops (for when I'm not slutting it up at the Hotel #######-ifornia) and could find nothing like what I wanted to replace -- namely some ancient but still serviceable little vests from Next. Then I thought: hey, I can just go to Next instead! Oh, the internal dancy-dancy I did. Need more paracetamol with codeine, Feminax, maybe some proper Easter eggs (with fun accoutrements like a mug or some such), M&S bras, oh the list goes on!

Maven, did you know that Next deliver to the US for a flat rate of $10?

I had no idea! Ta, Ms Muffin. :star:

Maven, you've been doing quite a bit of the dancy, dancy of late. It makes me smile. :star:

It's just because I cannot STAND the dancing smiley. Blurgh.

Yes, it must be spring, and my heart is lighter than usual. :D

We haven't posted in ages, but thought we'd say hi and share that our little girl is now 4 months old and yesterday we recieved her British passport and birth registration certificate. So she's a Legit Brit now! It was pretty expensive, but worth it in our opinion since we'll be heading back to Wales later this year to visit and she can go through the citizens line with her daddy. :)

Pretty soon we'll be figuring out Removal of Conditions. Can't wait to deal with USCIS again... :P

Hey Shan! Nice to see you around here again! :star: Your baby is 4 months old -- wow, time DOES fly! Don't worry too much about removing conditions -- it's more a matter of pulling a lot of paperwork together than anything else. :)

My most reviled smiley is the ol' winky, winky one. :dead:

Mine is the one once referred to by another VJer as the dancing proctologist: :dancing:

Nice to see you Shan. :) Glad things are going so well for you guys!

We're getting our RoC stuff together now. My advice would be that as you go through the next few months keep copies of different documents that show your lives are intertwined. You don't need copies of every single bank statement, for example, but rather a few from over the 2 years you've been married. i wish we'd have done that as we're now trying to re-create that history.

Just curious how expensive it was? I'm due in July and definitely plan to do this.

If I can help at all with removing conditions, let me know. And I love the avatar - go Hawkeyes!!!!

PS Maven - all hubby wants at the moment from the UK is Radox. Bring us some! LOL
