This is a vent post.. just so you know of a bad experience with Delbros today.

Up to the last moment, you are kept in suspense ano? Just like in the movies ~ adventure, comedy, thriller, horror, suspense talaga itong visa process. But in the end, the fairy tale comes true. Kanta nga ni Snowhite, “someday my prince (ehe my visa) will come, lalalalalala.

Seriously speaking, what's going on with Delbros nowadays? There's a lot of complaints lately. Maybe it's time to collate data to document the complaints and then we can write the embassy about it.

Hello guys, I'm just confused. If I will use the link for DS-156 form here at VJ, will it still generate a bar code or is it necessary that I fill out the form on this link https://evisaforms.state.gov. to have a bar coded DS-156? And one more thing, will I need internet connection for a bar code to generate or I can fill out this form offline? I thought about downloading DS forms and then fill them out later...

Better if you fill out using the evisaforms.state.gov link. The bar code will capture the data that you will enter so I don't think that you can download a blank form and fill it out later. If you do that, the bar code will turn up blank when the embassy scans it.

I text the delbros today,No reply.In their website the update i got is :

Im just in Quezon City.I wonder where the delivery man is.Might lost somewhere. I need it so i can go to CFO for i dont have time anymore. grrr.

EllaJosh, SHIPMENT PROCESS IN THE EMBASSY means that your passport is still with the embassy. When the status reads SHIPMENT RELEASED BY THE EMBASSY and SHIPMENT RECEIVED AT DISTRIBUTION CENTER, that's the time to start counting the 3-7 days that it takes for Delbros to deliver the passport to the beneficiary.

Question! Is it normal for the Embassy to skip over visa processing? We had our interview on the 21st and I see everyone from the 22nd and 23rd are receiving their Visa or Visa in process for delivery. I called the Embassy and We are not process for delivery yet. Is this normal and has anyone else exprienced this?

Judging from the history here, if it has been 10 days since interview and passport is not yet with Delbros, then we start worrying. The next threshold is 15 days and you can be sure that additional processing is being done. 2-6 weeks is the norm for this kind of delays.

Hi guys, can you pls enlighten me....... I know that I'll be paying the $100 visa processing fee at the bank but Im confuse if I need to pay another $100 for my son since I'll be filling some DS forms for him also.

I know it has been asked before, is it ok too change the POE from LAX to Las Vegas? We are looking for a good deal on Airlines flights now and Las Vegas is where we are going to get married so I was going to drive there to meet her.

If you are still in Manila I would suggest going to the embassy to find out whats going on. If not keep calling until they give you some type of status update.

I will call again today, but no, I'm back in Chicago and we have tickets for the 7th of April.

I just don't want to pay for the changes of the tickets.

Yeah, I agree with PW, there has been a lot of complaints with delbros lately.

In our case, our visa was delivered by delbros last friday, march 23, without even receiving a text message nor an update in their website that our visa is out for delivery. We received a text message last Monday, 3 days after delbros has delivered our visa, that the visa is out for delivery....

PW, glad you bring up the idea of creating a list of Delbros complaints. Even though Mira is now here with me in Tucson I can relate our experience with their recent poor service. Mira's visa was supposedly out for delivery on Monday Feb 26th, to her brothers home in Makati, it was not delivered that day. We started calling Delbros early Tuesday the 27th and got conflicting information from two people we talked with. One person told us that we could not contact the delivery guy as he did not have a cell phone. The second person gave us the name of the delivery guy and a cell phone number which returned no number when dialed. Then Mira received a txt message saying the delivery person was at the address but he was not. Then at 2:30pm we decided to drive to Delbros so we could speak with a supervisor face to face. While driving Mira's brother sent a txt to say it was just delivered at 3:10pm. Fortunately it all worked out ok for our flight booked for the 28th, but I can tell you we panicked for a while there. Service information is poor and unreliable. From other posts in a lot of cases, they cannot find the delivery address. I thought they were supposed to be a delivery service, can't find an address????? what's up with that???? Also, you would think if finding some addresses are a problem, the courier would have reliable mobile communication with his/ her office and the person waiting for the visa delivery. Perhaps Delbros does not provide the employee with a mobile, that they have to provide their personal one????

Hi Everyone!

Congrats to all those that have received their visa recently. It's so exciting for me to read about everyone getting their visa. Gives me hope that my honey will get her visa soon too.

On another note....keep in mind that missed text messages could be at the fault of delbros, but could also be the fault of the cell carrier. Sometimes I send messages to my honey and she will not get it for a day or so. I know it could be a glitch with Delbros system too. Just wanted to throw out another possibility. Technology!!! What did we ever do before we had a cell phone and instant (or not so instant) communication?!?!?!

Lastly, just wanted to update my situation regarding our NSO copy of the annullment certification. We ended up flying my mother-in-law to Manila so she could go to the NSO in Quezon City personally and see what was the problem with the certification of annullment. Seems the girl that supposedly mailed it out after the problem was discovered had lied. The person in charge looked in the computer and no record of it being mailed back to us. They also could not find our documents in the office either. Seems it had been lost by NSO and no one could tell us that on the phone when we followed up. Interestingly enough....that lacking employee who told us it was mailed back already was absent from work again that day my future mother-in-law went to NSO. Seems she is absent or unavailable to take our calls a lot when we were following up. I wonder if it had anything to do with the lost paperwork? Hmmmm She is a real piece of work....or no work actually.

So anyways....we found out from the in charge that the problem was two of the documents were photocopies that were stamped with a court seal. NSO wants original printed copies only even if its court sealed. Are they really that picky??? So mother got the in charge to agree that if she brought the corrected documents into the NSO, they would process it as a priority cuz of their mishandling of the previous submission by their lacking employee. Mother went home and got the original printed copies and sent them on a plane back to her friend in Manila who brought them to NSO for filing. Happy to say we now have an NSO copy of my honey's annullment in hand for the interview. PHEW!!!! I was sweating some bullets on that one! God came through again!

Seriously speaking, what's going on with Delbros nowadays? There's a lot of complaints lately. Maybe it's time to collate data to document the complaints and then we can write the embassy about it.

Well, the delivery guy managed to find my address after all. He delivered our visas at 9:00p.m. last night--even if their website says they only deliver up to 5:00p.m.. I did talk to the supervisor yesterday. And yup, I am so very tempted to write Mr. Delgado (Delbros CEO) and the embassy about this. A collective documentation of complaints would even be better.

Now you make me feel like singing... I'm leaving on a jetplane...

Nah.. believe me it's more like poetry reading when i sing...

And so! Visas delivered: 28 March/6 days/Cainta, Rizal.

Thanks again and congratulations guys. Everyone who goes through this process deserves a big one... the visa process is certainly not for the weak of heart.

This is a vent post.. just so you know of a bad experience with Delbros today.
