Try t-mobile. its the only one i have found that i can text Jordan..i imagine if it allows Jordan, the UK would work too.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

No additional fees. I had an unlocked phone that I brought from the UK, bought a pre-paid T-Mobile sim on the 'Pay As You Go' plan to put in it and I just top it up whenever I need to. It costs 35c to send and 5c to receive texts. Here's a link from their website. http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans/prepaidrates.aspx

I don't know about prepaid, but any US Cellular phone plan in the USA allows international texting, and it costs the same. If you have the unlimited text messaging feature in your package already for USA, then international texts are included in that price. If you don't have the unlimited text messaging feature in your package, it costs the same as sending a test within the USA to send one to the UK (20 cents to send a message, free to receive messages).
