ciao again, im now trying to decide if i should marry him in the US while he is here visiting, have him go back, and then apply for the K3 to bring him to the states to live for good. OR do the fiance visa??? whats the pros and cons??? thank you :luv:

I would go for neither. If you can get married; I would suggest you file for a CR-1 (immigrant visa) instead of the K-1 (fiance) or K-3 (spouse non immigrant visa).

Do have him return to Italia after marriage :yes:

really?? i heard that takes longer than K1 or k3 is that true?

really?? i heard that takes longer than K1 or k3 is that true?

when they started issuing K visas, they did take a lot less timne; but nowadays it is "about" the same time. AND Italy has not so bad timelines.

Do read the link Kim and Russ sent you but the fastest way for him to get here AND work is to marry now and file an I-130 for a CR1 visa.

ok thank you, have to investigate, he is here for only 1 month more, and we need to decide which one to apply for, my eyes have bags under them from reading information all day long on the computer, cant afford an attorney and im just trying to make the right move here, we cant be apart anymore, its killing us, been back and forth travelling to and from italy for 2 years now.........................................why is it so hard to be with the love of your life??? :(
