For 1-134 Question 11.

What does this Qustion mean? How should I fill it out for K1?

11. I ( ) intend ( ) do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in ITEM 3.

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.)

I just don't get this question. Please Help.

Also, I am in the process of buying a house (have not closed it yet). I don't have to list that I own property on I-134, right?

Thanks

I-134 is a multi purpose form, it is used for things like student and visitors visas, in those cases support length and amounts can be specified by the sponsor.

#11 does NOT applie to K-Visas which have immigrant intent.

No check box, and state "N/A K-Visa process for immigrations"

Check the Example I-134 for what has worked for a majority of the folks here on VJ.

As far as the house - you only need to list any kind of asset(s) if your income does not meet the minimum requirements (so if your income is sufficient, you can leave this part empty). Besides, since you haven't closed yet, it's not yours - and presumably there wouldn't be a ton of equity in it yet anyway.

I was tempted to to check "intend" and say "if she is a good wife". LOL The other answers you have are correct, mine is more fun.

On form I-134, question 10, under "Date submitted"(visa petition to uscis) do I put the current date? or date I sent in my I-129f to uscis?

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jere. 29:11
