Today I did a status check on the Affidavit of Support (AOS)submitted. I am told as of Feb. 13, 2009 NVC put out a letter request. I am missing and/or additonal information is requested. This forum mentioned people are sending the DS-230 with the Affidavit of Support (AOS). I am waiting on the DS-230 to come in from my husband and then I will submit it directly NVC. Should I have waited and submitted AOS and DS-230 together, but to the addresses as according to the cover sheet?

Can be sent separately. I-864 first and then (DS-230 + documents)

You may want to update profile to show CR-1/IR-1 instead of K-3, it looks like you are perusing CR-1 by sending I-864, and DS-230 to NVC.

Moving this to NVC forum.

they can be sent separately but u better send them together, we got a false RFE cz the officer didnt think that we sent the AOS package which arrived a day before the DS230 package, they said it was a mistake and that it didnt affect our case but we hav been waiting for more than 10 days for a case complete and still noting so it is all up to u , god bless u all
