K1 question...

ok.. we have had our NOA 2 approval and packet 3 (which I will mail off soon)... but we are thinking that after I have the medical, I could move down there, then fly back to Canada for the Interview... Is this possible or a very bad idea?

We want to be together NOW!!!!! and don't want to have to wait till the interview.

Any advice ?

As a Canadian I do not usually require a "visitors visa" to enter and stay in the US, will that still be the case or will I actually need a "visitor's visa" this time around ?

No visitors visa needed, just be prepared to provide evidence of connection to Canada to the officer at the POE.

Yeah , but if its on the fritz, then you should defrost it when ever it gets too full of ice or till you can buy a new one..LOL
