Hey guys...God willingly next week I'm going to send off my I-751 papers...just wanted to know...do I have to send some passport size pictures of myself for new green card?? or the USCIS going to use the old one??? Thanks for ya help

06-Jun-2011 Received Renunciation Surrender Certificate from India Embassy.....grrr $ 190 bucks for one small tiny seal humph!!!

No you don't send in passport photos unless you are living outside of the US (ie. at a military base overseas, etc.). After you submit your application, you will receive two documents back: first will be an NOA receipt notice that also extends your conditional resident status for one year and can be used for work and travel purposes; second will be a biometrics letter (ASC notification) advising you to go to your local ASC or USCIS office and have your fingerprints retaken and your photo retaken. Both of those usually come within the first month but the Biometrics letter may be later than that. Good luck.
