I just called every few days. The last time I called it was to get the case #. USCIS gives you a receipt number, NVC give you the case #. They only have the case number once it has gone through and out to the embassy, I think. I would try calling. They will not call you or email you.. from my experience.

Thats the thing NVC sent me something in the mail with my case number on it that said they would forward it to the embassy within one week. When I called to see if it got sent out thats when they told me I was in AP. I will just have to call every couple of days I guess. At least this wait won't take nearly as long as USCIS. Whatever I can't do anything about it. Just keep doing what I have been doing already.

Thanks for the info. Did you ever get your NOA2 situation taken care of?

I am with you Richard. Today has been a ridiculously boring day. The weird thing is all I can think about is how badly I don't want to stop after work to get gas. Which I have to, but its so hot and I don't want to do it. Even though I am going to the gym right after work and am going to get sweaty anyways. I am so strange in my own head sometimes.
