All these people getting touches from transfers and such is wonderful news, but I can't help but feel :( . I haven't heard anything since they sent my NOA1 back in March. The last touch I had being the day we were put into the system on March 20th. I know many others have waited tons longer, but it gets so hard to be optimistic at times. I haven't been touched physically since April 25th. That is 50 days out of 365 so far that I have had to spend away from the person who makes me smile. I won't say it's not fair, because I find that such an unwise thing to say, because if life were fair we would deserve all the things bad that happen to us. I hope more than anything that the USCIS gets their proverbial heads out of their behinds and gets this all together. Waiting on this is awful. I couldn't help falling in love with someone who isn't from here. I can't move there to be with him. We are doing this the legal way and all I feel is that the United States government is so sloppily run and we just allow this to continue. We voted for these people who are putting things into effect without having a plan on how to implement what they have voted in. I am all for Imbra. I am all for anything that keeps people safe in a world that is so full of violence and danger, but I am also for being smart and having a plan to back up what I pass. Why is it so hard?

I used to feel the same way, about being touched, that it would be wonderful and all, but it's really not! I have had 4 touches this past month, due to being transfered from NSC to CSC, and it doesn't make me feel like I am getting anywhere because I know I am waiting for this RFE!!

I can completely relate to your feeling, because I feel like that too. I wonder why this has to be so hard, and it seems everytime I get excited about something (which doesn't take much, with all the IMBRA speculation, transfers, etc.) it all ends in more waiting. My fiance has gotten to the point where he is so frustrated that he doesn't want to hear it anymore, he just wants to know when the petition is approved! I can't really blame him.

Good luck to you, and I really hope everything goes well with your petition, and your spirits!

June 1, 2006- Petition sent from NSC to CSC

June 2, 2006- Touched

June 3, 2006- Touched

I was touched by your post. You make such a good point about our doing all of this legally. Beyond that, what gets me is the fact that these are government employees being paid by the government and yet we have to pay fees for K1 visa process, EAD process, Adjustment of Status process, etc etc etc. We pay them for a service and they seem to act as if they are doing us such a big favor.

I have not been touched either since March. I posted this exact same thing a few weeks ago, feeling left out that it seemed as though all others were being touched and not me.

I log in to the USCIS site every morning and check my status. I've come to expect what I am going to see now. (REceivd petition on 11th) I almost don't even get sad anymore, cuz if I allowed this roller coaster of emotions get the best of me, I will not be held responsible for my actions!

Just when I think I CAN'T STAND TO WAIT AROUND ANOTHER MINUTE... I get a call or a text message from Sean that says,

"Hello princess. How is your day? I miss you loads and can't wait till we are in each other's arms again. You are truly worth the wait and I love you more than life itself. Take care darling, I'll see you soon."

THAT is why we WAIT.

7/03/06.......RFE arrives at my house :(

7/06/06...... RFE sent back to California. Now, NOA2 PLEASE! :)

7/13/06..... Touched :)

7/17/06..... Received email stating 'RFE' info rec'd. Should have answer soon. Yeah, right. :(

7/18/06..... TOUCHED AGAIN - JUST SEND MY DAMN NOA2 PUH-LEEEZE!

8/22/06..... After much discussion and tears and anguish, we end our relationship
