If you happen to go into AP, at what point of the process is that done?

The most common times in order or frequency are, 1. After interview, 2. At the USCIS service center and a close third, 3. At NVC.

We didn't get notified that we were "going into ap" so to speak. He had his interview and was told that he was approved for the visa and they "welcomed him to the USA" which gave us high hopes, and then the wait began to actually receive it.

He was told at the interview that he would have it in about two weeks. When it didn't come and we inquired about the status we were told that it was delayed for "Administrative Processing". Later on the term was "Administrative Review". So it's not like we got a form or a notice or anything of that nature... it was just the term they used to describe why we weren't moving ahead. Hope that helps...

In reading all the reports from people on VJ from Egypt it appears that little review is done prior to the interview. It all seems to come post interview.

Good Luck Dear! Please have a sahlab for me if you're near Green Plaza! ;)
