OK, do I just choose the office closest to me? All of this info says to be sent to Chicago, but I am outside of Philadelphia (where there is an office.)

I just flipped through the faqs, guides, and search function. If I missed the answer to my question, sorry in advanced!

Big difference between the local office (which you may never step foot into) and the place you submit the forms to.... All AOS forms go initially to Chicago and are transferred from there

OK, Thanks. I was reading the question "Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:" and thinking: "Well, I am sending all the paperwork to Chicago as indicated, just it says, but why would it have me fill it in, does it deal with my local USCIS office???"

OK, that's another chunk of paper work done thanks to your help payxibka.
