Same here! I never received biometrics appointment and got my EAD approved for 2 years.

Hi you guys. I just came on to update my signature, I had my biometrics done yesterday at 9 in the morning and at 6 yesterday evening I got an email letting me know that the production of my EAC had been ordered! Yyyeeee! That was fast. Finally I can work!

Praying for all of you...

CONGRAGULATIONS ON YOUR EAD & BEST WISHES TO GET THE GC ASAP :thumbs::thumbs: .

I APPLIED FOR EAD ON 17TH SEP 2009 AND GOT THE RECEIPT ON 23RD BUT STILL WAITING FOR FINGER PRINTING. I APPLIED TO VERMONT SERVICE CENTER AND I THINK THAT MIGHT BE THE REASON FOR THE DELAY.

I never did finger print for my EAD

I called the USCIS and they said you have to wait for your fingerprint. I asked that I am in deferred action under c(14) category as I married to a PR. Even then they said you have to get the fingerprint first to get the EAD. I don't know what's their way of processing the stuff.

Don't worry lostinNJ, you will get your GC within 3 months and you don't need a EAD.

During your GC interview they will take your EAD back.

My best wishes to get the interview ASAP :thumbs::thumbs:

EAD

I did not pay anything for renewing my EAD. Last year, my lawyer filed I-360, I-485 and I-765 all together at Vermont office. 4 months later my first Employment authorization card ( valid for 1 year) was sent from Vermont to my lawyer's office. I have no idea why but they didn't request me to get done my fingerprints. This year (90 days before the expiration date on my first card) my lawyer sent the paperwork to renew my EAD and I got my card 1 month after he sent those docs (valid for 2 years). Once again, fingerprints were not taken nor requested by immigration and my employment authorization card came into my mailbox at this time.

Anyway, I think you don't need to renew your EAD because yours expires on july 2010 for what I remember, so at that time you're going to be a permanent resident already and don't need an employment authorization document, only your green card to be able to work in this country.

Do you have to pay for EAD when you're renewing it?

Dear EWTN,

I really wondering what's making the USCIS officer delaying to give a APPROVAL on your case. I feel you're very close to the approval.
