Iran: Obama policy demonstrates that America has failed

US President Barack Obama's offer to talk to Iran shows that America's policy of "domination" has failed, the government spokesman said on Saturday.

"This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed," Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.

"Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change," he added.

After nearly three decades of severed ties, Obama said shortly after taking office this month that he is willing to extend a diplomatic hand to Tehran if the Islamic republic is ready to "unclench its fist".

Iran has already expressed since day one that America is still their enemies and their Satan has a dark face instead of a white one. So I wouldn't really listen to anything Iran says from this point on due to their lack of diplomatic tack.

Note* That doesn't mean let down our guard and stop watching them. They are certainly hostile towards us and that's a threat.

I dont think that opening a "diplomatic hand" is going to help. They still have there agenda and will do what it takes to get it done. I think that we need to make our stand and let them cleary know that we dont tolerate there agenda. I also dont see our stand as one of "domination" as mentioned in original post.

If only it could be solved with a measuring tape, I could achieve world peace.
