What we did is - I filled out the forms while we were jointly online. She's in Thailand, I'm in the US. We spent a few hours on Skype and I typed in all the information into the pdf forms for DS-230, DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157. I needed her to participate in this, since all the biographical stuff is about her (e.g. her mom's maiden name, the date her Dad passed away, her name written in Thai characters, etc.) Then I 'printed' the completed forms to MDI file format (the Microsoft document imaging format, based on TIFF) and emailed to her the MDI files as attachments. She printed them on her printer, and presto! Instant complete forms, accurate, and double checked by both of us, ready for her signature.

For good measure, since I needed to mail her the I-134 Affidavit of support which *I* needed to sign, I also included in that mailing all of these forms as well.

Send the original signed by her. LBC takes only 3 to 4 working days and ul received the form already, while in ordinary mail takes almost a month, let her print the form and send immdtl.

Form DS-230 is an APPLICATION FOR IMMIGRANT VISA, and K3 is NON-IMMIGRANT VISA!
