Hi....

I e-mailed London last week regarding hubby's case. I explained that we are ready to proceed and asked for an interview date...

Today, London gets back to me and tells me that there is no record of hubby's case ! They mention however, that it takes 3-4 weeks to process it....

It was sent out of NVC on May 31...and looks like London rec'd it on June 3 from DHL tracking.

Should I be concerned, or is this standard operating procedure?

Thanks...

Rose

I knew Dublin had our case but when I called they said they didn't-about 2 weeks later Gav got packet # 3. I wouldn't be too concerned-but you should call them back in a few days ;)

I've heard that even when you KNOW it's gotten there they will deny having it. If you look at my signature you can see how long it took my fiance to get packet 3 from when it was delivered.

I wouldn't worry yet

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

Sounds to me like the mail room received it but its not made it upstairs yet. Sounds pretty typical from what I've read here before.

Yes its standard for them to say they didnt get it yet, until they start to process it, once they say they have it an interview will follow prtty fast, keep emailing them, & good luck :thumbs:
