I'm talking about the forum... there have been a lot of threads like this that have nothing to do with Obama's policies but rather some tasteless attempt at "humor". I don't recall any threads about Bush, Palin, McCain. etc that were similar to this one. Sure each was criticized but for entirely different reasons (usually their decisions or statements).

Let's see, today we had Cheney in a wheel chair, a quick search found McCain/McVey, and lots of threads about Sarah Palin's grandchild. In this thread we had comments about Barbara Bush. I think there is way too much "Holier than Thou" going on here.

By the way, Michelle's Brother is Craig Robison. Any basketball fans?

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

Show me one single thread where I make jokes about any political figure for something that isn't within their own hands then you can give me the 'holier than thou' ######.

Again, to be a political satire/lampoon cartoon or joke, the political figure has to be in control of the thing that is being lampooned or satarised. Physical appearance does not fit that criteria. I doubt SNL will go with the 'Michele looks butch so Obama must be gay' angle, though by all means, submit your sketch.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Don't be so sensitive, you'll pop a nut soon.........

I recall a skit where SNL made fun of Steven Segal being super fat.......

Just because you don't have a sense of humor (because you probably don't go fishing), don't be telling other people not to poke fun at things. Who are you to tell anyone that? Tell you what, if you don't like it, you don't have to read it. Wala!

Is everyone obligated to find humour in things that you personally think are funny?

Pointing out the unfunniness of a joke doesn't equate to that.

No idea why anyone feels it's their right to comment upon some else's choice of bride/husband in terms of superficiality (height, weight, looks). Idiotic, banal and a complete waste of time.

Um........Madame.........it IS our right!

it's called The right to Freedom of Speech. It's also known as humor. It's also what makes this country great :)

Oh ffs, not the "Freedom of Speech" card. Dude, your freedom of speech does not extend to VJ.

And if people are going to claim "humor," then at least be funny. Saying Michelle Obama walks like a basketball player and might even be a dude stops being funny at about the 4th grade level.

Dude at least be accurate with who u're attadcking. it wasn't me that say ANYTHING about Michelle Obana !

you're right, my freedom of speech doesn't extend to VJ, my FREEDOM OF THE PRESS DOES!

you guys are gonna pop a vein soon lol...........

See my bolded quote. I did not attribute the attacks to you.

And no, you have no freedom of the press because you are not the press, and even if you were, this isn't a newspaper, and even if it was a newspaper, it's not your newspaper.

you sir....are a dope !

And you, sir, need to learn the art of the debate. You have yet to make a valid, intelligent point and would do well sit out from further posting in this thread, lest you further embarrass yourself.

If you will insist on blathering about your inalienable rights, at least understand how they function prior to doing so.

I know the First Amendment plenty enough........

You guys should really take it easy, and not be so #######. Take up fishing, a lot of funny stuff is said dring fishing........

And perhaps divert some of your energy towards saving the whales. May be that'll make you feel better.

If insulting me makes you feel better to get out your bitterness and anger, well....go nuts dude........enjoy lol

Whether someone does that or not is pretty irrelevant at the end of the day - as they have no authority to enforce it. To reiterate though - there is a TOS on this site that limits the scope of the content you can post on here.

Blathering about your rights being infringed on the internet is a little silly, I think.

And aren't u being a little silly at how serious you take other people's posts? what the F do you care what others say? everyone is entitled to their own opinion right?

BTW I never made a coment on our First Lady. All I see is a bunch of people attacking someone for cracking some jokes. That's my Perception.

But you know, everyone has their own perception. But why do you have to fight people? does it make you feel better?
