TL...I'm glad you're back in one piece...girl, it's always something...it's wierd, some people they ask the non-impiedment form other they don't. Marcel's friend has his interview yesterday and he didn't have his.

I wonder why that is. THe thing costs 8000J now.

wow Island!

YAY!!!

At least it is over (kinda...)

hahaha. A better know how much you went thru with this!

Wow, Island you did have a chaotic trip, but all in all it sounds like a good one! Glad to hear that you are back safe and sound and that he will have the visa soon!

Shrewdie, I just KNOW you are going to have a good trip and everything is going to be perfect!!

I think so too :)

I am really starting to get excited..but also sad. I know this will be my last time in JA for quite a while..probably till NEXT summer :crying:

Shrewie - don't worry bout nothing!! You will be fine. Just keep pushing along. And enjoy your trip - I told A the same thing, I'm not coming back again this year cuz I have things I need to take care of it my "yard" this year.

I actually was fine with the way it ended and walked out with a smile on my face. A was disappointed all the heck though! He pouted for at least 24 hrs chatting bout he finally put his mind to leaving and this. I'm thankful for a bit of a delay because he started a new job the beginning of January and this will give him the time to work it hard and get a stash put away for when those phone calls come. Also, he will need to get his license ASAP here because there are no bus or taxis to get him around and I was NOT looking forward to trying to teach him to drive in the heart of winter. So March will be perfect IMO.

BTW - Jr didn't go to the interview. A and Jr's mom can't get there heads together about it right now so he decided that he would get himself settled here first then work on Jr. I thought that was the wrong choice, but it wasn't my choice to make so I went with it. I did hear one family get blue slipped for DNA because it was longer than a year that the father's name was added to the BC so I think they use that as a timeline.

Congrats Island that is some drama. I am glad that he got approved. Has he already gone to get the police report?

Thanks - not yet. He had to go back to work today so as soon as he gets his next day off he will deal with it. If he pays the $2,000 he can get it in 3 days.

Re the nonimpediment - I would say try to roll without it if you can handle the possible blue slip.

I would rather pay and be safe rather than sorry - Because I know that I would be the person they would ask for it who chose to take the chance!

The ocean and palms trees was very medicinal. I wanted to choke him when he stood me up at the airport for the 3rd time (although I give him a small break cuz he coming from Kingston) but by the time I reached Discovery Bay...I was all chilled out and relaxed. Once I saw my favorite blue house in Mobay and the water and the trees, I felt the tension just ease out of my body.....till later!

And Shrewie...remember all those pinches we talked about - he got every single one of them!!

That's the way I think too. But I have certainly learned how to live outside the box in this relationship!!

Hubby did that to me ONE time, IW....stood me up at the airport. Ripped him a new one and he never did that again.

He always come back at me that when I fly into Kingston he was there early waiting for me and how I don't understand what it's like on the bus. I think if I didn't have a car and the ability to get around myself I would probably be ripping more. But I know I can get around Mobay and as far as Ochi by myself so I'm more lax on him.

I need some opinions here....

My Nieces birthday was on the 17th so we sent her a card with a Chuck E Cheeses gift card. It was Marley's idea and was pretty excited about giving this gift. Well yesterday in the mail I get a thank you note with the gift card back. My SIL wrote thanks but R is afraid of everything even Santa so we thought maybe Marley would enjoy it more.

I just want non biased opinions because I have told my Aunt and my Mom what has happened and they pretty much told me I was over reacting for being upset and to let it go.
