What is included in packet 3 of k-1 visa?

Me and my fiance just received our NOA2 and was looking into the next step.

I have read that when the USCIS forwards the petition to his embassy, they will send him 'packet 3'. This will tell him he needs to turn in the affidavit of support (from my end), 2 DS-156 (completed in duplicate) and 1 DS-156K, along with 2 passport photos, evidence of relationship.

My questions is....I have been reading that there are more forms he will need to fill out because he is the immigrant (male)...for example DS-230 and DS-157. My fiance has read that he needs to complete these two additional forms in packet 3. Is this true?

If anyone who has received packet 3 recently could tell me exactly what we are to expect in this packet, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much in advance to everyone's ongoing help,

Kristine and Stuart

NVC will forward your case to the UK embassy/consulate. They will send you Packet 3. Includes a checklist with documents you will need at the interview and some forms to fill out. After returning the checklist/forms you will get Packet 4 with an interview appointment.

Have a look at the embassy info:
