We ended up going to Black Sands and got to swim with some sea turtles. It was pretty cool!

I would have chosen the black sand beach as well. When we went to Hawaii in 2007, one of the many souveniers we came back with was a set of three little bags of white, black, and green sand

Did you know there are only 2 Green Sand Beaches in the world. One on the Big Island and one on Guam. I like the green sand best.

I grew up in Hawaii and got sick of the beach - now I spend my vacations in the mountains of Nepal, far from any ocean......
