I-693/Civil Surgeon/Seattle

I'm putting together the AOS for my wife and had, by what I've read on some threads here, the usual experience finding a Civil Surgeon willing to transcribe the vaccination information onto the I-693 without doing a full physical. I live in Bellingham and started calling from the list on the USCIS site, working my way South. I must have called a dozen doctors, all wanted 200-300 dollars and would only redo the entire exam. I finally found Dr. Kenneth Hong (on the list) in Seattle. He was very helpful, filled out the forms an put in the required envelope, and charged us $60.00. Still steep for what he did but far better that $200.00. Just thought I'd pass it on on case anyone else from this area was in need.

Timeline

I wish more of these Civil Surgeons knew exactly what they were supposed to do, but most of them don't seem to understand the rules.

We found one in Seattle that did ours for $35.00, but he is no longer on the Civil Surgeon list. He decided he didn't want to do it anymore.

Good luck for a speedy approval of your AOS.

Dr. Phan in Lynnwood also only charges $50 and he's been doing it for 15 years-they didn't mention a thing to me about having the whole physical done. They were also EXTREMELY helpful. I was overdue for my HPV and the receptionist/nurse (whichever she was) called around to all sorts of offices finding who could give me the shot the earliest. I'd highly recommend them. :)

Do you guys know if there is a Seattle forum? I haven't been able to find one.
