well, hello vj friends, it's nice to be back. i'm already in US since december 10 and me and my fiance is not married yet. our wedding's going to be on the 25 of this month and my K1 or I-194 expires on march 10. after our wedding, how long does it take for me or the maximum time to file for AOS? thanks everyone and happy new year!

Timeline

Once you are married within the 90 days you should file AOS as soon as you are able. There is really no time limit, but you will be out of status and unable to work or travel abroad.

:thumbs: The sooner you file the sooner the alien will receive the adjustment of status which will allow them to work, get a drivers license, etc.
