criminal check needed ?

i am filing aos my hubby is from england do i need to have a criminal check for him to send with packet or will they ask for one ? i am confused on it because on paperwork it isnt clear. thanks

i am jus unclear because some are saying you need police certificate and ohters saying aos you dont need , very confused

Normally a police certifcate is not needed for AOS, though tell him to retain his Police certificate copy which he would have been handed back at his interview. Just incase but never heard of needing it in an AOS interview... best

I did sent a police certificate from my home country but i believe USCIS will do their own background check..

i was reading that if you use a k1 visa or something they need it right ? but my hubby came here then we married and so we never had a visa . so we are just aos but reading on here was confusing . so do you know if he needs medical before or after . we have been trying to get vaccine records and still havent received those .seems like getting things for paperwork is the hardest part
